Kaleigh’s Culinary Journey

Ever since childhood, I would often be found in the kitchen concocting “potions” and watching the food network while other kids were watching cartoons. From the beginning, the kitchen felt like a natural playground for me. The play with ingredients and nutrition was fun AND delicious for me. It still is! The discovery of what flavors, textures, temperatures go well together is always an endless adventure that I have created into a beautifully loving business for myself and my clients. Being of multiracial descent, I have always been curious about and inspired by all cuisines.

When I was introduced to Ayurveda through my Yoga and Bhakti studies, WHAT I was cooking and my INTENTIONALITY behind it all allowed my love for people and food to meld together in the most nourishing and creative way. Even learning about the simple idea of "prana," being life force energy, breathed more life into my creations. Embracing the understanding that we are everything we consume brought a new level of awareness and natural wisdom around my plan, prep and consumption of food. To nourish my clients in the most prana-rich way possible, I choose fresh, seasonal and local ingredients from ethical farms who treat their animals with dignity and respect and pay their workers a living wage. As the energies of what we consume create our state of mind and infuse our life, having this context is incredibly important for the integrity of the food I choose to cook for you.

The offering of cooking is my chosen devotional practice that serves my clients and myself for true, integral balance and vitality. Whether you are someone who is interested in exploring a transition into a plant-based Ayurvedic lifestyle or you already practice a Sattvic lifestyle, I curate intentionally prepared meals to support and nourish you for all layers of health- physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Given the opportunity, I especially love to educate the curious minds about Ayurveda and the devotional practice of what and how we feed our bodies.
